Liturgy and Music

As Music Minister for Holy Angels, Jorge Ordiano brings more than 20 years of experience in Catholic liturgical music to Holy Angels. Deeply grounded in the traditions of the Church, Jorge has led music ministries across numerous parishes and diocesan settings, always with a heart for worship that is prayerful, inclusive, and community-centered.

Jorge brings extensive experience in Catholic liturgical music, with a strong focus on planning worship that reflects the rhythm of the Church year and supports the prayer of the assembly. He is especially gifted in bilingual and multicultural ministry, regularly leading English, Spanish, and bilingual liturgies that honor the diversity of the faith community while fostering unity in worship.

He is the founder and director of the St. Anne’s Mariachi Program, which he developed into a vibrant 60-member ensemble, and has coordinated music for major liturgical celebrations and seasonal services. Jorge holds an Associate Degree in Music Education from Fullerton College, is a certified piano instructor, and has training in child development.

Collaborating with clergy and parishioners to build a music ministry rooted in musical excellence, pastoral care, and active participation in worship are Jorge's priorities in our parish
